I am looking forward to a productive and fun-filled school year as Principal of Nathan Hale Elementary School.

I am an Arizona native and received my own education in the Mesa Public Schools System (Emerson, Carson, Westwood).  I graduated from A.S.U. in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-8) with an E.S.L. Endorsement.  I then earned a master's degree in Elementary Education (K-8) from N.A.U in 2001.  I earned a second master's degree from N.A.U. in Educational Leadership in May of 2012.  In addition to being E.S.L. Endorsed, I have my Principal Certification K-12 Endorsement, Reading Specialist Endorsement as well as an Early Childhood Endorsement.  I taught at Lehi Elementary from 1995 - 2008.  I was a Basic Skills Specialist at Longfellow Elementary from 2008 - 2009, and a Title One Specialist at Washington Elementary from 2009 - 2012. As a district-based Professional Development Specialist, I worked at Smith Junior High, Lehi, Edison, Emerson, and Holmes Elementary schools for the 2012/2013 school year.  I then worked as Team Leader/Assistant Principal at Smith Junior High for the 2013/2014, and 2014/2015 school years.  Following my A.P. experience at Smith, I served as principal at Zedo Ishikawa Elementary school for six years. I am honored and excited to be at Nathan Hale Elementary School and feel privileged to be working with such a skilled and professional group of teachers.  Nathan Hale Elementary School... Probably the best school in the world!
